Frequently Asked Questions

We offer two sizes of CSA boxes, delivered straight from our farm to your table. The regular box is ideal for 1-2 people, while the large box caters to 2-4 people.

Each box contains a selection of fresh, seasonal vegetables grown on our farm.

**Please note that a $15 deposit is required for your box which will be returned to you after your last order.   If you opt for our home delivery service an e-transfer will be accepted at kiwanfarms7@gmail.com. **

Signing up is easy! Simply click on the CSA Boxes link in the CSA Boxes dropdown menu, then select 'order here' of the picture corresponding to the size you wish to order.

From there, you can choose the number of weeks or specific weeks you'd like to receive your box.

In addition, if you're within a 10 km radius of our Garden Center you can purchase our home delivery package. 

CSA boxes can be collected every Wednesday between 12 pm and 6 pm at our Garden Center, located at 3485 Hawthorne Rd, Ottawa.

Help us reduce waste and support sustainability—please bring your own bags when picking up your CSA box at the garden center! 

For those who opt for delivery, your box will be delivered on Wednesdays between 12 pm and 6 pm.

 Home delivery is available for addresses within a 10 km radius of our Garden Centre.

After signing up for your CSA box and purchasing our delivery option, you will receive an email from our team confirming your eligibility.

Deliveries are made on Wednesdays between 12 pm and 6 pm for the weeks you select. Your box will be left on your front porch or at an alternate location if specified. Please note that we do not deliver to apartment units, enter private residences, or deliver to backyards.

To keep your produce fresh if you're not home at the time of delivery, we encourage you to leave a cooler with a freeze pack outside your home.

 We do not provide refunds or replacements for uncollected CSA boxes. 

If you can't make it to pick up your box, feel free to have someone else collect it for you. They just need to provide your name at the pickup.

If you’ll be out of town and can’t pick up your CSA box, we encourage you to gift it to someone who can pick it up from our Garden Center.

OR

If you'll be out of town and unable to receive your home delivery, you can gift your box to someone who can pick it up from the delivery address.

We accept credit card payments through our website.

If you prefer to pay with cash or debit, please visit us at Kiwan Farms Garden Centre, located at 3485 Hawthorne Rd, to sign up in person.
